We will be visiting in June 2009. Flying into CDG, renting car. To Normandy for 3 days, then back to Paris.
Any suggestions on best days of the week to arrive, or best days of the week to fly home?

I don%26#39;t know about what days are best. It seems for most people coming and going is based on what days provide the best values on airfares. That said, there is no bad day to get to Paris, and no good day to have to go home. lol

given your comment re Normandy...I not infrequently travel to Normandy from Paris..I will not answer your question as to best but can re worst...re flying to Paris that is IMO an airfare issue..I just try to avoid rush hour into Paris on the RER or with a taxis (unless I am on an expense account). re Normandy..avoid driving to Normandy on a Friday evening during the late Spring, Summer and early Fall..and avoid returning on a Sunday evening (and check your calender for long weeekends and then avoid the start and return evenings.) By all means try to avoid the weekend which starts the %26quot;summer break for August and the return weekend at the beginning of September...the roads are a mess.
