help with purchasing bus tickets/passes please.

We are in nice for five days (including today). We would like to travel around and about (matisse, picasso, chagall, monaco, cannes etc). What is our best bet? I have asked at the gare routier for a seven day pass but they say you do it on the bus. I got on the bus and they said that I would have to purchase it from a tabac somewhere where I don%26#39;t know. I%26#39;ve tried many tabac shops around the old nice and all they do is a 10 journey ticket for 10 euros. At the end of our stay we need to get back to the airport on the 98. Can someone please help advise how we would do all this - do we just buy single tickets on the bus as we go or a pass and if so where on earth do we purchase them from? Thanks.

The 15 euro 7 day pass is valid for the 98 airport bus.

Just check you%26#39;re going to be doing at least 11 X 1 euro journeys on top of the airport ride to make it worthwhile.

Guess you could always hand it onto someone waiting for the bus at the airport when you get off there too :))

Hope this helps

hi and thank you very much. I walked over to the tourist info and they told me, which will be useful to anyone else looking to buy a 7 day pass, that I could buy them at any tram stop at the machines. I found one and say that they accept cards or coins. To play safe I%26#39;ve used coins. (45E worth - which took some buying in shops and asking for change!). Yes, I thought I%26#39;d just hand the ticket over to someone at the airport when we go on Weds. I don%26#39;t mind if we don%26#39;t use 11 x 1 euro journeys, its just the ease of it all. Pity that the bus stations, or even the buses don%26#39;t deal with all this - its been fairly confusing and lost us a day in trips. I was originally going to book a car as we normally do but took advice not to because the transport is so good. Thanks again for your help. We%26#39;re looking for the english cinema tonight. If you know where it is that would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
