Districts in Paris

I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the best place to stay in Paris?

I am looking at 3 different apartments one in Saint Germain des pres, one near Le Marais and one on Ave de Breteuil and I can%26#39;t decide which one to go for. We are a young married couple so would like somewhere thats relatively lively close to bars and restaurants and preferably a metro station.

Also I was wondering if anyone had dealt with Paristay.com as that is who we were going to book with.

Many Thanks

I%26#39;d say Saint Germain would fit you best...since you want bars/restos but all the areas you choose are very nice. Lots of tourists stay there. As for the metro stops just plug in the addresses into google maps and they show you where the metro stops are in relation to your address.

Thanks very much for both replies. The apt in St Germain has now gone so looks like its gonna be the one in Le Marais. it sounds nice there, is there many bars/restaurants?

Hopper, you%26#39;ll have many bars and restaurants in the Marais to choose from. It is a very lively area of Paris.
