What closes on Sundays?

Hi,

What specifically closes down on a Sunday?

Retail Stores?

Restaurants?

I think I was expecting abbreviated hours on Sundays like here in the U.S. ???????

Most retail shops close on Sundays, by law.

Some boutiques and the like are open in the Marais. Restaurants aren%26#39;t affected by law, they are allowed to be open or not on Sundays as they see fit, and many are open.

You%26#39;ll find a lot of shops closed, some bakeries and pastry shops will close on Sundays, and a good deal of the smaller and high end restaurants close on Sundays.

The only way it will really effect you is if you want to go to a particular restaurant that is closed on a Sunday, so make sure your restaurant of choice is opened. Most places in tourist areas are open, of course.
