I got such fast and reliable help last time I thought I%26#39;d ask two more questions;
First, anywhere in the old Aix area that has wifi access?
Second, I want to rent a car and that would be fine except apparently as everyone told me, parking is impossible! Is there anywhere that has street parking that is free where I can park overnight and not have to get up by 7:00 a.m. to move it? Staying near Cours St Louis. Thanks in advance!

Here%26#39;s a link to hotspots in Aix

As to free parking. I know there are lots of choices, but I don%26#39;t live in Aix, so cannot state exactly where they are. I%26#39;m sure someone else will come along who knows.

When I stay in Aix, I always reserve at Hotel Le Manoir:

This is a wonderful hotel in the center of town that is isolated and quiet.
It also has free parking in the courtyard in front of the hotel.
Outside of this hotel, free parking is really a problem in central Aix-en-Provence.

Thanks for responding. As to parking, we are staying in a home with no parking so the hotel lot isn%26#39;t an option.
I had seen that wifi list -- most are hotels. I don%26#39;t think I can sit it their lobbies for too long with my laptop. I was hoping someone happened to know of a cafe with wifi.
Very interesting that one virtually never sees anyone on a cellphone or with a computer here! Very foreign (and not unwelcome!) to me.

Free parking in front of the main swimming pool on the way to Le Tholonet
