We are off to Paris in a little less than a week. We are staying in the 15th Arrondissement and are not really sure what to expect. I know that it is not in the %26quot;downtown%26quot; happening part of town and we are fine with that. Coming from a big city already we are very used to taking public transport and can speak pretty fluent French (in case we are lost). It is also more in our budget and we can spend a bit more on other things this way. Can anyone tell me if there are any good restaurants around this area, that are affordable, example: not 300 Euros? Also are there any markets? Please feel free to add any additional comments or information that you think I should know. Thanks a bunch and we are really looking forward to our 9 days in Paris!!

There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the 15th, in the nearby 6th, 7th, and across the river in the 16th.
It%26#39;s a large arrondissement - where exactly are you staying?

We are staying near metro Convention. It seems like an easy line to access almost anything and is a fast ride to Metro de la Concorde where we can walk to the different places. I am just worried that there is not much in the way of cafes and restaurants in the 15th, but I am happy to hear there is. There is not much written about this area.
