hi i am staying in the armstrong hotel which as far as i know is neart pere lechaise and is in the 19/20 arrondisments. Has anyone stayed at the armstrong hotel before and if so what are its amenities like (in particular the bar/restaurant) also im looking for bars and restaurants on a low-medium budget around the area.. if anyone has any info that would be great.

There is a restaurant called le Saint Amour near Metro Pere Lachaise. I go there every time I am in the ares. There is also la Mere Lachaise that I have heard of but not been to. Metro Gambetta also has many restaurants. It is a family type of neighborhood, and you will find all you need there.
Make sure you visit the cemetery which has all kinds of famous people burried there, great sculpture and a wild crowd at times.
In case you understand French take a tour with Bertrand Beyern. His tours are advertised in Pariscope and he is the best (not to mention very handsome)

thank you la photographe do you know haow much a 3 course meal would be approx in the restaurants you mentioned. i cant wait to go the cemetery either, last time i went to see jim morrison but im hoping to spend a lot more time there this time round
