Beauvais to Disney Resort by hire car

Travelling to Beauvais on 7th March and staying in Disney Resort for 3 nights. 2 adults and 2 kids. We hope to hire a car to get us to and from Disney - any tips for a driver that is not familiar with the route.

Who did you book your car with? Can you tell me how you got on? Am going 8th July and am wondering best way to get from Beauvais to DLP Claire

We are also travelling with kids (ages 3 and 1) from Beauvais to Disney after a late flight arriving at 21:30. I received a quote for a private shuttle costing over 150 Euros. I’m considering the car hire option (approximately 120 Euros one way) through Hertz but hesitate due to the arrival time and this being our first trip to France.

Any suggestions or recommendations? We prefer public transportation but this does not appear to be an option due to our late arrival. Many thanks!

We went on 8th July and hired car throught ryanair site, beware they try to make you pay an extra 16 euro a day for total cover insurance otherwise the first 900 is not covered in an accident. We picked up the car (it was hertz pulling the fast one, I think) directly across from the airport, long queue as only one on the desk! There was no map in the car so make sure you have directions, which we did have through the internet, but still very nerve racking around the outskirts of Paris trying to get the right road. For the sake of less than 50euro I would recommend the direct route by private bus if you can be guaranteed they will turn up there seems to be some query over this on other sites if you are the only people booked they may not turn up, so make sure the Ryanair bus to Paris has not left before that. Good Luck and enjoy Disney

Thanks for the post! I believe we will choose the private shuttle and stay away from the hassles of a car hire. I read another post recommending train connections to the RER but since we arrive so late (21:30) I don%26#39;t believe the train will be suitable for my kids (ages 1 and 3).

Thanks again, -John

Hi anyone know anything about %26quot;ATA Beauvais Shuttle Service%26quot; as they are considerably cheaper than any other shuttles at € 32.00 per adult each way, but i always wonder is it too good to be true. Also Disney are recommending VEA shuttle service but when i contacted them they told me the service had not commenced yet. Any ideas on anything appreciated.

VEA GOOD FROM CDG - UNFORTUNATELY DONT RUN TO BEAVAIS - BUT AVOID ALWAYS SHUTTLE!!

I WOULD ADVISE ALL TRAVELLERS TO AVOID THIS COMPANY!

We were staying at Eurodisney and had booked them to take us to Beavais Airport - which we booked and had a confirmation in April 2008.

On our leaving day I called them to be informed that they were not going to be turning up - they fobbed me off with some story about them no longer being able to operate the route to Beavais (Funny how they still advertise it). So we were completely let down by this company (left with 2 children and all luggage). Had to organise a taxi that then cost us an extra 70 Euro (Due to last minute).

Since my return I have attempted to contact the company, however they continue to ignore my emails

PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN A POSITION OF NEEDING TO RELY ON ALWAYS SHUTTLE - THEY ARE COMPLETELY IGNORANT AND WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY IF IT SUITS THEM. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE. AVOID AVOID AVOID
