|||

Thank`s! Do you know about trainstations, is there 1 or 2 stations in Menton? And what station would be close to this hotel?

I presume you have looked at the hotel%26#39;s website linked above?

Why don%26#39;t you email them with whatever questions you have?

For any other information you want, post your questions separately here on the Menton forum of Tripadvisor, to reach more eyes and advice.

Otherwise you will only be limited to the people who look into your Claridge%26#39;s Hotel question.....hope you understand what I mean.

There is also a tourist office in Menton who will be able to help you.

There is one train station called Gare de Menton.

It appears to be very close to the hotel and should be walkable but the hotel will be able to let you know for sure.

Thanks rallis! W`ll meet there :)

Hopefully the Hotel is fine.I just can`t wait !

I probably walked by it but I don%26#39;t remember it. The area is fine. The street it is on is also near the bus station so you can also access Bus 100 which is another alternative to go along the Riviera to Nice (going through Cap Martin, Monaco, Beaulieu, Villefranche before Nice). The post office is near by also. At the sea end of the street is the Casino. The visitor%26#39;s bureau is across the park (Jardins Biovès) which runs between Ave. Verdun and Ave Boyer. There are some interesting stores along Rue Partouneau starts across the street/park from Ave Thiers. It will run into the pedestrian street Rue St Michele which will lead you to the Vielle Ville and the church St. Michel. It is about a 10-15 minute walk. You%26#39;ll also find a large market here (near Quai de Monleon) and many restaurants.

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your answer !

Nice to hear locations for tourist office etc.Only one week and couple of days and here we come :)

I also have a reservation there but I have been unable to contact the hotel by email or by phone in order to confirm my reservation. Now I%26#39;m starting to get a little worried. If you were able to contact them, how did you do it?

I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago. It%26#39;s a nice, clean, well-kept two star, within walking distance of anything you might need. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I walked from the station and I think it was 10 or 15 minutes away. It%26#39;s hard for me to calculate because I had no reservations and didn%26#39;t walk directly point to point.

I definitely will stay there again if I find myself in the area. It was very pleasant.
