double room accomodations

Hey Guys,

I%26#39;m beginning to plan a trip for myself %26amp; my girlfriends for the last week in April to Paris. It%26#39;s everyone%26#39;s first time there. I%26#39;ve been checking out hotels on line and had a question about room size.

Do most hotels offer rooms with 2 beds? Are the pictures I%26#39;ve seen of doubles have 1 large bed.

Would we have to request 2 seperate beds when we make reservations?

What%26#39;s the norm?

It depends on the hotel.

With many, you can book a specific type of room on their web site.

You may also want to consider an apartment. The extra space is nice and having a kitchen is terrific.

Hi

in Europe, a %26#39;double%26#39; room is usually a double bed, ie a queen size (king size if you are lucky). If you want 2 single beds, you should request a %26#39;twin%26#39; room.
