We are trying to decide where to stay that would be central for our 1 week stay...or should we stay at a couple different locations? We are looking at staying in Antibes, Isle-sur-la Sorgue and Cavalaillon...what do you think? Suggestions? Tips?

Not Cavaillon. I%26#39;m sure it has people that love it but there%26#39;s not much there for the visitor. I don%26#39;t know Antibes. L%26#39;isle is lovely but very quiet except for weekends. When are you going? And will you have a car? The riviera (around Nice) and provencal Provence (around Avignon) are a couple of hours driving apart and very different from one another. do you want small quiet town or lively beach culture?

Thank you. We are going at the beginning of September (not much time). We will have a car...we will are looking to stay in quiet places, B%26amp;B%26#39;s etc and then spend our days exploring.

Avignon is a great centre for a base - lots to see in Avignon itself and also well situatted for exploring further afield.
We stayed at Maison Lumani - a charming B%26amp;B in a lovely old town house. Look in the B%26amp;B section of the accommodation on TA - it gets plenty of good reviews.
