Hello, I was planning on going to Chamonix in the 3rd week of November. It is not necessarily for skying, because I´m a begginner, but at least to enjoy a snowy place. So I would like to know if is ussual to be snowing in November and if the town is busy and with things to see? Thanks in advance.

There might be snow and there might not, in the town.
There will not be any skiing unless the conditions are really good and then only on Les grand Montets.
The Aguile du Midi might be open.
The town itself will be open no problem with shopping etc. Loads of mountains to look at and walk up but it will be cold.
