Culinary tours that include eating at restaurants?? Help!!!

I%26#39;m going to Paris with my husband for our 5yr anniversary. He works as a chef so I wanted to take him on a tour that would give him a sampling of HIGH quality French cuisine, from restaurants more so than just markets or pastry shops).

I%26#39;m looking for a tour that includes meals or samplings of meals at some of the best restaurants in Paris, a walking tour, or otherwise.

All I seem to be able to find are either dinner cruises, or walking food tours that take you to pastry, or chocolate shops, and markets.

Is there anything like what I%26#39;m looking for in Paris?

Help!

Thanks! :D

What a lovely idea. I haven%26#39;t seen anything like this advertised, but it might be possible to put together your own itinerary. I have heard that many of the chefs like to show off to other chefs, so it might be worth writing directly to those restaurants you want to visit, saying that your husband is a chef at XXXXX restaurant and that you are putting together a culinary tour. Perhaps one of the high-end restaurants may also know of such a tour? I have always found these restaurants to be very helpful when I have written to them.

Contact Pascal Fonquernie. He is the editor for the Paris Marais Newsletter. Pascal may be able to arrange something, no guarantees. The restaurants in the Marais may not be Michelin 3 stars, but they are definitely good eats.

what about a cooking lesson from the Ritz Escoffier or le Cordon Bleu?
