Air conditioning in mid-Sept.

Hi

We will be traveling to Brussels in September and are planning to rent a car and driving to Normandy and then Paris. Will we need a car with air conditioning during this time period? What are the average temperatures?

Thank you very much for the weather information. We have traveled to Amsterdam at the end of Sept. and we did use the heater then. I can now save a few Euros and rent a car without air.
