Itinerary - what do you think?

hi all... we%26#39;re 2 weeks away from our big day, the honeymoon we couldn%26#39;t do 8 months ago and we%26#39;re very excited... thanks for everyone on this forum who takes the time to provide the kind of advice that could never be found in guidebooks...

i%26#39;ve put together a good agenda, and i think it should work pretty well and cover all the things we enjoy doing - walking, scenic drives, markets, people watching, preparing picnics, museums... nevertheless, i thought i%26#39;d share our itinerary here and welcome any interesting suggestions or critiques...

day 1 - arrive in Antibes in the morning. lay on the beach, take a walk, see the Picasso museum, sleep early to kill the jet lag.

day 2 and 3 - bus to Nice, lots of walking in town and on the Promenade, flower market, good dinner, the Chateau. visit Villefranche, hike in Cap Ferrat, and maybe a bus to Eze.

day 4 - pick up rental car, drive to Roussillon, Gordes, and Abbeye Senanque, evening in Vaison-la-Romaine.

day 5 and 6 - Vaison market, hike(s) in nearby towns, scenic drives around the Dentelles, wine tasting in Gigondas, dinner at Hotel Les Florets. more driving and exploring towns to locations west and north, i.e. Brantes, Sault, Nyons, Le Poet Laval, others.

day 7 - drive to the Luberon, lunch in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, stop here and there in the Luberon, evening in Arles.

day 8 - see Arles, look for Van Gogh sties, bull festival opening and bullfight, bull for dinner.

day 9 - drive to the Millau Viaduct, picnic lunch with a bridge view, drive south to Carcassonne, evening walk in La Cite.

day 10 - morning walk in La Cite, drive to Albi, see the cathedral, visit the Toulouse Lautrec museum, evening walk.

day 11 - set off early for a random local drive north stopping wherever looks interesting, arrive in Chenonceaux in the evening, ask the hotel to recommend a good restaurant with Loire regional fare.

day 12 - see Chenonceau, spending a lot of time in the gardens if it%26#39;s not too crowded, lunch and afternoon in Amboise or Blois, arrive Paris in the early evening, drop off rental car.

day 13, 14, 15, 16 - Paris! (second visit so less interested in the tourist must-sees), heavy walking with a goal of getting a feel for every arrondissement (i.e. Passy, Belleville, Montmartre, the 13th), random rides on the public bus, several markets to shop for picnic lunches and dinners, a couple of restaurant dinners probably in the 10th and 11th, visit several parks (i.e. Monceau), Pere lachaise, Orsay, Carnavalet, Sewer tour.

cheers!
