Most efficient & economical way to Coillure from US

Should we:

1)Fly to London and get separate Ryanair flight from Stanstead to Perpignan, Beziers or Carcassone and then a rail connection?

2) Connect from Dublin or Shannon to Carcassone via Ryanair.

3)Fly to Barcelona or Girona via available options and then take a train from there.

4)Other suggestions?

What%26#39;s wrong with a flight to CDG and the TGV to Perpignan followed by a local train or taxi to Coillure?

Options 1 and 2 : there is no point in flying to Beziers or Carcassonne from Stansted. Collioure is closer to Perpignan (30 km). Take a shuttle from Perpignan airport to Perpignan station, then a train, bus or taxi to Collioure.

Option 3 : No for flying into Barcelona, it%26#39;s 200 km from Collioure. Girona is closer but the two daily fast trains to France (Talgo and Mare Nostrum) do not stop in Collioure. You%26quot;d have to get off in Perpignan then backtrack. Or take a slow train from Girona to Collioure and they are not very convenient.

This leaves you with option 1 and what Sarastro%26#39;s suggestion : train from CGD to Perpignan, then train/bus/taxi to Collioure.
