Does anyone have any experience renting a bicycle for a few weeks? I would like to just have it at my disposal the whole time I am in Paris, but I%26#39;m wondering of it wouldn%26#39;t be cheaper to just buy a cheap bike rather than pay the rental plus insurance. Plus, I guess I would run the risk of losing my deposit by keeping it for so long.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks!

Great question Jetskipper and if you find the solution let us know.
What my cycling friends say is that if you already had your own bike, you bring it if you%26#39;re travelling for a week or more. The question is what do you mean by buying a cheap bike, that is what amount are you thinking of spending, and do you plan to use the bike as a mode of transport for several weeks in Europe.
