Hoping someone has some good dieas about how to do the champagne trail using rail passes and local transport.
Which towns are the best and how best to get around.
Do some hotels offer transport to vineyards.
what are good hotels
are there any tips?

You%26#39;ll be able to see the caves and do tastings at some of the Champagne houses in Reims and Epernay for a fee-- we did Veuve in Reims and Moet in Epernay and booked both of those online.
There are two public bus loops in Reims, which travel in opposite directions around the city. They%26#39;re good for getting around to the different Champagne houses.
We had a car and used that to drive into the countryside between Reims and Epernay.
