I%26#39;m arriving at CGD at 830am on September 8th and want to spend every possible minute at the show since it closes the following day. Quality, economy, and distance/time to the convention center are the priorities - contradictory I know :-) I take the train to Venice the evening of the 9th, no sightseeing in Paris for me.
Thanks so much for any help. My first chance to shop Masion Object and I%26#39;m excited to attend.

Your best option would seem to be staying at CDG, as it is only 3km/10 mins fron the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition Centre, and then taking the RER from CDG into Paris on the 9th for your journey to Venice. Not knowing what time your train leaves Paris for Venice it%26#39;s hard to be totally specific.
Search hotels at CDG here and read the TA User Reviews to find the one that best suits your criteria. You could go to the hotel, check-in and leave your bags (as your room is unlikely to be ready) and then spend as long as you want at the Maison Objet on the 8th.
The show is open 9.30am to 7pm on the 8th. You do need a professional ID/Business card to get into the show as it is not open to the general public.

If need be, you can always check your bags at Maison %26amp; Objet while you’re at the show (many people do). As ebabe mentioned, the Exhibition Center is only 1 or 2 stops from the airport on the RER.
Though I don’t know how you could possibly do the show immediately after arriving on a flight from San Francisco!!!
Have fun!
