We arrive at noon on Friday ,August 22nd.
Friday : Pere Lachaise
Maison de Victor Hugo, Place des Vosges, the rest of Le Marais.
Saturday : We start from Place de la Concorde, see les Jardins des Tuileries, Musee d%26#39;Orangerie, then we walk on Champs Elysees to l%26#39;Arc de Triumphe, and then by metro - tour Eiffel.
Sunday : Versailles, Montmartre.
Monday : Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Jardin du Luxembourg, Pantheon and in the evening the latin quarter.
Tuesday :Musee d%26#39;Orsay, shopping on Rue de Rivoli. This day we have the evening open, maybe we%26#39;ll find a nice place near Rivoli to eat and hang around !?
Wednesday : Musee Rodin, Invalides, Opera, Parc Monceau, in the evening :La Defense.
Thursday : Disneyland
I arranged the days so that we buy a 4 days museum pass and spare a few euros.
What do you think of my itinerary? Any suggestions?
Is it safe to walk at night time in Paris?
Is it possible to do all these without coming back to the hotel for a rest? We%26#39;ll stay near Gare de l%26#39; Est.
thanks

You don%26#39;t want to go to the Louvre? Not even to see the Mona Lisa or Napoleon%26#39;s apartment?
I agree that it makes sense to go to Versailles, come back and view La Defense, and then go to Montmartre.
Les Invalides and Musee Rodin are over by the Pantheon. See them when you are on the Left Bank.
There is no shopping worth doing on Rue de Rivoli. I think it is the worst shopping in Paris. What do you want to shop for? You could go to Galeries Lafayette and/or Printemps (near Opera Garnier).
By the way, you have Opera written down. Be sure you go to Opera Garnier, not Opera Bastille. One is old and ornate, the other is modern and not supposed to be anything special.
On Wednesday, if you move Invalides, Musee Rodin and La Defense (none of these will take a long time to see), you will have some extra time. You could either go to the Louvre (it is even open late that evening) or you could go to a beautiful mansion/museum called Musee Jacquemart-Andre on Blvd. Haussman near Galeries Lafayette. It was owned by husband/wife art collectors. You receive an audio guide as you walk through. They have a lovely belle epoque restaurant which is nice for lunch or dessert/tea in the afternoon.
Yes it is safe to walk around Paris at night. Everybody walks in Paris, day and night.
You will see how tired you are each day and whether you need to go back to your hotel and rest. I rarely do that but occasionally I will. There are pretty little places to sit and rest all over Paris. There are cafes where you can sit outside and people-watch. There are restaurants where you can rest and eat. So it is up to you where you rest--your apartment or somewhere else. Time in Paris is precious so I like to be out and about as much as possible.

I%26#39;m not too sure about Versailles and Montmartre on the same day.
Other than that, it seems you have many areas of Paris covered. Your itinerary sounds exhausting to me, but even if you don%26#39;t get to do every single thing that you plan, you will have a wonderful time.
Be sure to give yourself at least a few minutes in each arrondissement that you visit to just sit at a cafe terrace and take in the the ambience.
Good luck!

As I believe, from reading your previous posts, your interest lies with the Impressionists I can see no reason why you *have* to go to the Louvre.
If you want do as suggested or else, if you can find time in some of the alternative suggestions for days, I would go to the Marmottan.

A bit of a schlep but worth it.
