Hello,
If I want to avoid Rush Hour on the Metro, what times would that be? Please and Thank You...... :)

Roughly, on weekdays the metro is busiest in the morning between 7.00 and 9.00, and between 16.00 and 20.00 in the evening. But there are also more trains: you will have to wait a bit longer during the quiet hours.

Most people don%26#39;t have enough time/days in Paris that they can be that picky. Just go when you need to go. Just don%26#39;t carry valuables with you or keep a steady eye on them. Many evenings as late as 10:30pm the metro is literally jam packed--it seems like rush hour.

Rush hour is up to 9:30 in the am and starting at 5:30 in the pm. Some lines like line 1 are always busy, but with patience, you can do it.

We just got back from Paris and I agree it can be crowded at any hour. I wouldn%26#39;t hesitate to ride the Metro when and where you need to though. Keep a watchful eye out of course as in all big cities. I would also have a plan of action in case you get seperated if travelling with others. It can happen as people rush to get on and off that somebody gets left behind. We decided that the people left on the train would get off at the next station and wait for the others to catch up. Then we would all head back to the right stop. The Paris Visite really comes in handy if you make a mistake and need to back track.

Thanks so much for your advice. :)
