Maison d'Hôtes du Greillon

Can anyone tell me whether it is convenient for 50 sth years old women to stay at Maison d%26#39;Hôtes du Greillon without car. Is it difficult to access and how long does it take to walk to main tourist attractions?

As it is located on a hill, I must be honest, this B%26amp;B is not the easiest access; you will have stairs up and down every day to/from the river banks. Then it is a 15 to 20%26#39; walk to the main sites. But you won%26#39;t have to walk to the city center as there are convenient bus lines that stops at the bottom of the stairs. Public transportation is excellent in Lyon. You may also use the citybike system called %26quot;velov%26quot;, as there is a citybike station not far on the other Saône bank:

I think the stairs are the effort to pay to stay in a nice green environment (nice garden). Check the detailed street map with mappy.fr to make up your mind (will give you a more precise idea regarding distances).

Hello; We are staying at the Maison d%26#39;Hotes du Greillon for three days. We are in our 70%26#39;s but do not mind the climb. However, I am concerned about parking on the street. Any information would help. We will be comming from Auxerre, with a stop in [three hour?] Autun. Perhaps eight hours to arrive in Lyon. Will we encounter traffic problems in the 17hrs time frame? Trevel day is a Tuesday. Many Thanks

You should contact the owner for parking issues, I think you won%26#39;t have abnny problem to park in the street, it is a very quiet street.

You will get all info you can need : distance, time, map, detailed itineraries, prices, etc.

From Auxerre to Lyon it is a 2 hours and 40 minutes drive only.
