winter rental

We are planning a long term visit to Provence - probably November to March 2009. Are there any recommendations for accommodation (for two) or agencies that specialize in longer lets? Ideally we would like to be somewhere in the N100 valley but are open to ideas!

Perhaps if you could be a wee bit more specific regarding cities/towns/villages near the %26quot;N100 Valley%26quot; where you are seeking to locate, Forum Members would be better able to assist you in your search for a suitable accomodation for your %26quot;long term%26quot; stay.

I suppose I%26#39;m honestly looking around Apt as a town with an all year round community. In some ways it would be nice to be in a village but would they be deserted in winter? We would really like to integrate so the greater the community the more chance there is! However, still open to suggestions of other locations especially if the accommodation suit us well.

Hi

Check out http://www.provenceholidayhouses.com who specialise in smaller cottages in the Luberon which is where you are looking. It is run by Paul %26amp; Anne Froggat (English) who live locally and are very professional. We have rented 3 small cottages through them and not once disappointed.

Villages are most certaily not deserted in the winter--local people live there, and shopkeepers need business.
