Le Train Jaune

Just spotted this train on a website and wondered if it is worth a trip while we are spending a week in Collioure?

How long are the train journeys and could anyone recommend an itinerary?

There is only one itinerary :

either you drive from Collioure to Villefranche-de-Conflent and take the train from Villefranche station and back

Or

you take a train from Collioure to Perpignan Station, then a train from Perpignan to Villefranche, then the little Yellow Train.

If you want to see what the journey is like just search on YouTube for %26#39;petit train jaune%26#39;, there are a number of videos of various sections of the line. It will give you an idea, but the clips don%26#39;t realy do the journey justice.
